Fall into a Good Book Celebrating  Super Characters and Heroes

 Dear Firestone Park Family Members,

Our Theme for this year’s Fall Celebration is Fall into a Good Book. We are celebrating our love for reading by having our students dress up for the day as superheroes or their favorite positive book characters.

During the school day, students will focus on reading and sharing their favorite story characters with each other.  In the afternoon, students will walk around Firestone Park with their favorite book or a drawing of their favorite character while in costume.

All characters or superheroes must show the characteristics of leadership, kindness, caring or making a positive impact in the world. Students may wear positive t-shirts and jeans, character costume or a superhero costume.

Keeping with the theme of citizenship and good character, please do not send students with scary costumes, weapons or clown costumes.  Each classroom will nominate a student who has the most creative and positive superhero or character costume. Parents are welcome to provide treats for the classroom celebration. Students will enjoy their classroom treats following Fall into a Good Book Parade.

Where: Firestone Park Palm Street Door.
